What Type Of Information Is Collected?

Unless a user is dealing with us as a customer, we have no interest in actively capturing their detailed information. The information we collect is pertinent to the delivery of the services we offer.

• On registration – a user will be asked for some basic information to allow them to access the services we provide. This will include a name and an email address. The user will define their own username and password. 
• When placing an order – the user will be asked to identify their child’s school and to enter their name, class, year, delivery location and delivery time. 
• When making a payment - the user will enter their card data into a secure form that is generated by our payment processing partner – SumUp. We do not record or have access to, these card details.
• When making a query – the userwill be asked to describe the nature of their query and to reference an order number that they have been given. We will capture the IP address of the user on any contact form they complete.

• For service delivery – the information we collect enables us to deliver the service we provide.
• For query resolution – the information we collect enables us to address the specifics of a user query.
• For security – the information we collect allows us to keep the website secure and reduce spam or fake accounts.
• Technical Assistance – the information we collect enables us to diagnose and resolve user issues.
• Compliance - the information we collect enables us to maintain accounts and other records as required under Irish law

Who Can Access My Information?

We will have access to the information described and our website management company will also have access to elements that are relevant to website security, development, and day to day management.

Can I Opt Out Of Communications?

We do not initiate client communication. By contacting us or completing an order, a user is giving us consent to take an action. Any service announcements will be made via the website and we do not operate a mailing list.

How Do We Protect Your Information?

• Our website is encrypted and we take every reasonable to step to ensure your information is secure.
• Our local systems are equipped with professional security features. 
• We maintain good housekeeping practices.
• We use reputable payment, hosting and software partners who maintain their own stringent security protocols. 
  

Please remember that general business information (including contact details) will be sent via the internet and that we cannot 100% guarantee the security of these as the user's own security awareness is also a factor. Information forwarded to us over the Internet is entirely at the user's own risk.

How Long Do You Hold My Information For?

• Dormant user accounts will normally be deleted monthly.
• Enquires will be deleted on resolution of the query.
• Order information will be retained for as long as is required by law.

As School Lunches .IE is based in Ireland, all transactions entered shall fall under this policy and under Irish governance.
